People Operations HR Adviser

Homer Rd, Solihull

Full-time, 37.5 Hours

£23,000 - £25,000

*12-month FTC and Permanent positions available.

 

As part of a centralised team of specialist People Services advisers you will provide professional advice and support remotely via telephone and email to our People Operations Managers across the UK.

You will provide pragmatic and pro-active day-to-day employee relations consulting and providing guidance for our temporary employees, covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle including performance, disciplinary, grievances, maternity/paternity, absence and triaging where necessary to our Case management Team. 

As the first point of contact for the People Operations Managers you will be responsible for supporting with any advice and queries associated to any of the policies related to each of the processes outlined above.

We are looking for an ambitious individual with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset. To be successful you will demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced Customer Service Environment to agreed targets and SLAs. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, be comfortable in using HR systems, and answering a high-volume of queries.

You will be numerate and literate, with a minimum GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent in Maths and English. Whilst a CIPD (or equivalent qualification) is not essential, an understanding of HR and experience within a professional HR environment is essential. An understanding of, or experience in Payroll is very desirable but not essential.

 

What you need to do the Job

  • Excellent generalist/operational HR experience at HR adviser level.
  • Practical experience within a fast-paced HR environment offering advice and support for queries relating to HR policies and procedures
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach to providing HR solutions.
  • Confident operating within a client-facing environment.
  • Delivery focused individual with the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner.
  • Ability to demonstrate presence and credibility within the organisation and manage key stakeholders.
