About the role


The role of Head of Service Delivery is fundamental to the ongoing partnering relationship with our outsourced partner and the ongoing management of a high-quality finance service delivery experience to Serco.


This role is accountable for the management of services with the BPO Partner, building relationships with key customers and stakeholders and ensuring the services of the CSS F&A operations deliver to customer needs.


At the highest level the purpose of this role is to agree with customers shared objectives, review past performance and set expectations for future activity.


About you


  • Qualified Accountant
  • Finance & Accounting process expertise.
  • Six Sigma certification, programme or project management certification.
  • Experience of leading an F&A service delivery team with additional experience in service management in a large shared services organisation.
  • Experience of working with a Tier 1 BPO service provider.
  • Leadership skills, able to lead and motivate a team of technical experts.
  • Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and a Tier 1 BPO provider.
  • Credible experience of effectively utilising operational metrics to track and drive performance.
