Permanent – 37 Hours per week

£19,000 - £25,000 per annum + Benefits

 

 

This is a home-based position, however you must be willing to travel to a number of our sites across the UK.

As part of a small, high-performing team of Capture professionals responsible for delivering the Employment & Skills business’ ambitious growth plan, Serco is seeking a Business Development Executive who will play an important role in the delivery of new business within the Employment & Skills business.

 

 

You will be joining the Employment & Skills team and be responsible for organising the business development team in line with the Serco Management System and ensuring that resources are in place across sales, operations and other internal stakeholders.

 

You will also act co-ordinate and support the capture and bid teams on allocated Customer Services deals. The role will provide administrative and research support in the development and prosecution of the business pipeline.

What you’ll need to do the role

You will have strong Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) skills, hold experience of delivering projects to tight deadlines and have good attention to detail.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills including relationship development and stakeholder management to a senior level.
