Your Opportunity  

We are looking for a Facility Handover Manager who will be responsible for managing the handover of facilities in representation of Serco and on behalf of the client.

 

The Client is in the process of developing and executing a transformation program. This program involves transitioning from the management of operations and maintenance contracts to the management of contracts related to assets and facilities. The client’s primary objective is to achieve maximum value and benefit for the life cycle of assets and facilities within their estate.

 

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and presentation skills, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

We drive operational and cost efficiency on key services through process improvement, innovation and transforming citizen experience providing our Client with Consulting Services to Support Assets and Facilities – Facilities Department.

 

This role will be based in Riyadh.

  

Key Accountabilities (Key elements of the job) 

  • Comprehensive support in facilities handover to hand over new facilities to end users
  • Overall management of facilities handover
  • Develop a phased plan for each package to ensure that it is properly implemented in phases to meet construction, site handover and operation requirements.
  • Development of the completion and handover plan which includes the process of handing over infrastructure assets to relevant agencies and stakeholders, and the process of handing over lands provided with services to third parties, and the certificate of completion and handover.
  • Support in the development of the main program which shall include the employer's requirements for the handover, organization and completion of work packages, current contractual deadlines and coordination with various other relevant programs. It will also clearly defines the critical path, any long-term requirements, and deadlines for concerned authority’s approvals.
  • Support in the completion, handover and closure of tasks of outsourced O&M contractors on behalf of the client.
  • Transition planning which includes the development and execution of a detailed plan for the handover process including timelines, milestones and key deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with regards to facilities handover in accordance to international best practices.
  • Support in the development of KPIs with regards to transition and handover activities for the outsourced O&M contractors to follow.
  • Implement monitoring systems on site as well as continuously track and evaluate performance to ensure a consistent level of service

 

Specific Requirements (What we are looking for in our candidates) 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • Practical and previous experience in KSA
  • Previous experience in Public Sectors
  • 10 years’ experience in relevant field is a minimum requirement
  • In-depth knowledge of transition and handover activities.
  • Ability to manage Operations & Maintenance contractors during transition and handover.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels in the organisation and with external parties.
  • Ability to develop self and contribute to the development of others across the Team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
