About the project
 

The Customer Digital Experience (CDX) is an integrated project that focuses on advancing the technology of the South Metropolitan Health Service digital platform, facilitating anytime, anywhere and any device network and systems access. The CDX Project will harness multiple ICT digital enhancements. The benefits of CDX include Windows 10 and Office 365, Tap to log on/Single Sign on, Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Bring your own device (BYOD) and Mobile device management (MDM). This is an exciting project which is bringing the latest technology to the Hospital Users.

 

About you and the role
 

As the Application Packager you will work with the project team at Fiona Stanley Hospital, packaging clinical and facilities management applications to work in a virtual environment utilization the VM Ware app volumes application packaging tool. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.

 

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience and skills:
 

  • The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
  • Competent in Windows 10, Office 365, SCCM and VMware
  • Competent imaging & packaging using thick (MSI) & thin ( ThinApp or AppVolumes) distributions
  • 3+ years packaging experience
  • 3rd level support experience
  • Highly developed and demonstrated technical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated organisation and time management skills with the ability to work effectively to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Well-developed technical skills including packaging applications for use in SCCM supporting Windows 7/10 migrations
  • Must have ability to deal with legacy Windows Application compatibility issues migrating to Windows 10 / IE 11, Operating System (SOE) deployment issues. 
  • Experience of working within an ITIL framework particularly in Change Management

 

This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment as an essential section component for this role
