About you

 

To be successful in this role, you will:

 

  • have a frontline, customer-centric background with an aptitude for remaining calm in difficult situations
  • have similar experience within a correctional environment or looking for a new career
  • either hold your Certificate III Correctional Practice (CSC30115) or
  • eligible to obtain a Cert III Correctional Practice (CSC30115)
  • maintain a high level of integrity and ethical behaviour
  • maintain a high level of resilience and self-awareness
  • enjoy working in a team environment
  • respects the diversity of inmates, colleagues and others
  • have the tenacity to resolve practical problems
  • have experience in handling sensitive information and situations
  • display a competent level of computer literacy and report writing
  • have proficient interpersonal and communications skills
  • have a good level of fitness
