Our Graduate Program is just one of the Early Career Serco pathways to fulfilling work where you can make a difference every day. Across the 18-months on the Serco Graduate program, you’ll take on real challenges, work with inspiring leaders, and gain the skills, experience and commercial insight to set you on the path of a fulfilling career.

You’ll be encouraged to use your initiative, take on important responsibilities and gain practical experience across a number of our businesses and/or corporate functional teams. And you'll be offered challenging and diverse opportunities to explore the problems we're trying to solve, as well as work on the solutions that are needed to solve them.

In any given week you might find yourself undertaking research, presenting to our government customers, identifying opportunities for innovation, shaping new services, developing your people leadership skills, contributing to a competitive bid, assessing KPIs, supporting the transition of a multi-million-dollar contract, or contributing to business transformation.

And approaching the conclusion of the program you’ll be supported in identifying roles you’d like to pursue across our wide and diverse business.

We have multiple opportunities across Sydney & Adelaide:

Asset & Facilities Management | Macquarie Park, New South Wales

No two days are the same in the delivery of asset and facilities management located in Macquarie Park. Across our 18-month graduate program you will be encouraged to use your initiative, take on important responsibilities and gain practical experience with exposure across a number of departments and functions as you develop your skills and capabilities and the foundations of becoming an exceptional leader. Your three placements will vary your focus across contract delivery & development, facilities management risk & compliance, asset maintenance life cycle with a focus on maintaining a high safety culture across the facilities space.

Degrees: Business; Management; Workplace Safety; Quality Assurance; Construction Management

Digital (technology Solutions) | Sydney

Working within our Information Technology team located in Sydney, your three placements will vary your focus across ITS Security and Risk, Digital – ITS Operations and growth / solutioning.

You will develop relationships widely across Serco's business and operations, while gaining terrific experience and development across a breadth of people services in an organisation where our people are working within extremely diverse roles and work contexts.

Degrees: Bachelor of Technology, Systems, Mobile Application Development

Business Operations | Adelaide

Working within our Corporate Operations (shared service centre) team based in Adelaide, your three placements will vary your focus across Governance and Transformation, Support Centre/ Workforce Management, Compliance and Onboarding.

Degrees: Bachelor of Business; Management

Public & Industry Affairs / Communications | Sydney

This opportunity is an amazing springboard for your communications career. Working within our Corporate Affairs team based in Sydney, your three placements will vary your focus across Growth & Solutioning, Corporate Affairs and Internal Communications.

You will develop relationships widely across Serco's business and operations while gaining terrific experience and development across a breadth of people services in an organisation where our people work within extremely diverse roles and contexts.dertaking data analytics and visualisation, data warehousing, data interrogation, validation, dashboarding and modelling to further data driven decisions for current and future projects.

Degrees: Bachelor of Business; Bachelor of Communications (Digital & Social Media); Bachelor of Arts (Media & Communications)


Health, Safety & Wellbeing | Melbourne

Working within our dedicated Health, Safety and Wellbeing team your placements will vary your focus across Workplace Health and Safety, Safety Management Systems, and exposure to an Aspac wide scope.

You will develop relationships widely across Serco's business and site operations, while gaining terrific experience and development across a breadth of people services.

Degrees: Bachelor of Health and Safety; Bachelor of Safety Management Systems; or similar.

Clinical Governance (Health Services Management) | Melbourne

Based in Melbourne (with one placement in Grafton NSW at our Clarence Correctional Facility) and working within our Health Services and Clinical Governance team for Aspac, your three placements will vary your focus across all area of clinical governance including: Quality and risk management; risk identification and mitigation planning, quality reviews, incident and complaint management, contract compliance, workforce capability and clinical credentialing.

Degrees: Bachelor of Health Services Management; Health Information Management; Public Health; Health Administration; or Business Administration with a health focused major
