Power to Work
In 2019, Serco was jointly awarded a grant with Indigenous Employment Partners to deliver Power to Work – a two-year social impact pilot. The job-readiness program provides a culturally safe and supported entry to the workforce for once-criminalised Indigenous men and women.
First Nations Employment Hub
Launched in 2021, the First Nations Employment Hub is an employment and mentoring scheme for long-term unemployed, new entrants to the workforce and people seeking a new career path. Over 12 months, Aspirants will work in an entry-level role within Serco while receiving individual mentoring, group training and study opportunities.
