Domestic Staff Required 
Location: University Hospital Southampton, SO16 6YD
Salary: £9.02 per hour plus weekend enhancements 


***Various Shift Patterns Available***
9am - 3pm (25 hours per week) Mon - Fri

4pm - 8pm (20 hours per week) Mon - Fri

4pm - 7pm (15 hours per week) Mon - Fri

7am - 12.30pm (10 hours per week) Sat & Sun


Our domestic assistants provide a high-quality domestic cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors at University Hospital Southampton. Duties will include cleaning floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment. You will empty, dispose and replace clinical and domestic waste as directed and that all equipment and materials required to perform all cleaning tasks are maintained in a hygienic and safe condition. Hospital cleaning is a vital part of overall health and safety, as it’s a major contributor to controlling the spread of infections. 

 

Main Responsibilities:
We are currently looking to recruit several domestic assistants with part-time and full-time shifts.

 

About you
Strong communication is a key attribute for this role as you will be interacting with colleagues, patients, visitors and other staff on a day to day basis. You will also be required to have a good working knowledge of health and safety and hygiene practices.
