Learn more about our roles

These are just some of the opportunities you'll find here at SWS.

Housing Officers

As a Housing Officer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that your allocated hotel is safe, habitable, and fully equipped for the service users. You will be the main point of contact, supporting individuals with their needs while liaising with hotels and third parties.

The role offers rewarding experiences, from helping service users settle in to improving your skills in communication, problem-solving, and patience. We offer flexible 12-hour shifts (day or night), with a 4-on-4-off schedule, and provide ongoing practical training and support. Benefits include weekly pay, public holiday pay, and opportunities for future career growth.

Environmental Services

At Serco, we provide waste, street cleansing, and recycling services to local communities, ensuring streets, homes, and businesses remain clean, safe, and tidy. Working in environmental services may not always be glamorous, but it offers the chance to be part of diverse, friendly teams and find flexible, rewarding work.

As an SWS temp, you’ll have the opportunity to take on roles such as Grounds Maintenance, Collections Operative, Collection Driver/Loader, or Street Cleaning Operative. You’ll contribute to maintaining parks, collecting waste, and ensuring public spaces are clean, all while working with supportive crews in a role that fits your lifestyle.

Customer Service Advisors

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll join a supportive team, providing professional and empathetic assistance to customers through inbound and outbound calls.

With full training and shadowing provided, you'll quickly get up to speed and be empowered to make a positive impact every day. We offer flexible working options, including full-time and remote roles, with shifts available during weekdays and weekends. In return, we provide a range of benefits, including weekly pay, career progression, paid training, generous holiday entitlement, and access to a pension scheme.
