How can we help?

A workplace that supports your Reserve service

Your Reserve commitments can mean time away from your day job, whether that's for training, exercises or mobilisation.

That's why we provide support to help you balance your responsibilities as a reservist with your career at Serco.

As a Reservist, you can access up to 12 days of additional paid leave each year for eligible Reserve training and activities.

We also support colleagues through mobilisation, with support before, during and after deployment.

Guaranteed Interview Scheme

Reservists are invited to apply through our Guaranteed Interview Scheme. Eligible applicants will be guaranteed an interview, provided they meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the role.

We recognise the commitment and sacrifices that come with being a Reservist, and we want to help remove barriers to employment that these commitments can sometimes create.

This is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community.

Simply opt in to the scheme when completing the job application form.

Support when you need it

We know that Reserve service can sometimes mean your plans need to change. Whether you're attending training, taking part in an exercise or being called up for mobilisation, we'll work with you to understand what you need and how we can support you.

We'll work with you to understand your plans and prepare for your time away.

We'll keep the door open and maintain your connection with Serco while you're serving.

We'll support you as you transition back into your role and civilian career.
