Contract: Full Time, Permanent 
Location: MoD Lyneham to Warminster, with travel in-between 
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with on call 1 in 8 (On call includes Saturday work, 8:00AM-12:30PM)
Salary: £34,000.00 per year

As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing MOD housing stock. Your work will be scheduled for you in advance which you will receive through a work diary, and will include a mix of plumbing, drainage, carpentry, tiling, and general building repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues efficiently while ensuring a high standard of service delivery. This role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as refurbishment tasks, giving you variety in your day-to-day responsibilities.
 

What you will need:

We are looking for someone who can work independently, make informed decisions on repair solutions, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will need to be adaptable and flexible, as the role will require participation in shift patterns and out-of-hours cover. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be liaising with MOD families, clients, and members of the VIVO supply chain. Maintaining accurate job records and managing van stock effectively will also be key aspects of the role.
 

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in plumbing and a full UK driving licence. Experience in multi-trade works, including plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance, is essential. You should be reliable, punctual, and capable of working in all weather conditions. A proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic will set you apart.
