Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Within VIVO we are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Operative who will be based at MOD St Athan and surrounding areas (up to a mile) to successfully deliver certain Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, Billable works and direct works for the establishment.
You will be personally responsible for delivering works such as redecoration, changing of locks, noticeboard installations and other billable works. Whilst doing this, you will quantify equipment and materials as required, ordering them when needed and organising with the end user so that the work can be delivered.
As part of this role, you will be provided with a range of training opportunities, including an NVQ 2 in Building Maintenance, IPAF, PASMA, PAT and Legionella Responsible Person training plus fire alarm testing and emergency lighting.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Building relationships with the Building Custodians.
- Comply with the requirements of JSP375,
- Ensure that all documentation produced is of a high quality and comply with the requirements of Vivo and the FDIS contract.
- Planned Maintenance to comply with MOD SFG 207
- Provide technical support as required.
- Meet all KPI’s,
- Keep the estate statutory compliant,
- Fully comply with assurance processes,
- Champion excellence in delivery and first-time fix.
- To be part of the on-call rota if required.
- Will need to be able to operate smart phone, tablet and laptop including Microsoft Office/365 (and associated software) as required, although specific training on applications will be provided
What you’ll need to do this role
It is essential that you have experience and knowledge of working with planned maintenance, response maintenance and delivery of small projects
It is essential you hold a full UK driving license.
A related C&G or BTEC would is desirable
It is desirable that you have experience of operating within an MOD environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within area of responsibility .
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
