We are seeking an Agile Delivery Manager to join us on a maternity cover basis, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless collaboration between product teams, business stakeholders, and supporting services to enable successful Agile delivery.
In this role, you will own and implement Agile frameworks, leading Agile teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently. You will act as a mentor and coach, supporting individuals in adopting Agile principles while ensuring that Serco remains a customer-focused organisation. You will also facilitate Agile ceremonies, track team performance, and work closely with stakeholders to continuously improve processes, removing blockers and fostering an environment of innovation and adaptability.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead end-to-end delivery across a range of products, ensuring Agile best practices are followed.
- Provide mentorship and leadership in Agile processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support teams in prioritising and managing sprint backlogs, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery.
- Partner with the Product Owner to manage and align product backlogs effectively.
- Create an open and trusting environment, promoting problem-solving and resolution without fear of blame.
- Remove delivery obstacles to keep the team focused and on track.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and Agile rituals, ensuring clarity in delivery expectations.
- Promote self-management, self-governance, and continuous improvement within the teams.
- Support a hybrid working model, with an expectation of three days per week in the Solihull office.
What You’ll Need:
- Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile project experience.
- Significant experience in a Scrum Master role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Familiarity with software development practices and service-oriented environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
