Hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday + weekend callouts as needed

About the role
As our technical manager, you’ll lead a team of skilled engineers, coordinate with contractors, and ensure that all maintenance—from routine to urgent repairs—is carried out smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be a key player in keeping our facilities safe, compliant, and in top condition for our community members to enjoy.
What you’ll do
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance, repair, and service tasks, including hands-on support and management of subcontractors.
- Execute regular maintenance cycles, capturing detailed records in our asset management system.
- Maintain top-notch compliance and operational standards for all building service systems and associated equipment.
- Support various internal teams with technical expertise on requests, inspections, and operational requirements.
- Supervise a technical assistant, guiding daily tasks and fostering growth in a collaborative environment.
What you’ll bring
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and welfare procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and regulations.
- Excellent practical skills combined with computer competency to leverage asset management tools.
- Background in building services, whether electrical, mechanical, or building fabric.
