As a Supervisor in our Environmental Service team, you’ll ensure the safe and efficient delivery of services by overseeing work processes, resources, and compliance with contract requirements. 

 

As a key member of the management team, you’ll drive best practices, enhance operational effectiveness, and foster strong relationships with clients, customers, and employees.

 

 

You’ll be entrusted to:
•    Staffing & Service Management – Ensure adequate staffing levels while considering vehicle servicing, MOT, and repairs.
•    Compliance & Documentation – Uphold policies, procedures, and compliance while ensuring timely completion of documentation.
•    Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Track key performance indicators, inspect work standards, and report progress or issues affecting service delivery.
•    Employee Management & Development – Supervise, induct, manage, and train employees, handling performance management and leave approvals.
•    Incident & Risk Management – Conduct accident investigations, process reports, and manage health & safety best practices.
•    Operational Improvements & Communication – Develop processes, encourage open communication, and contribute ideas for service enhancements.

 

 

Does this sound like you?

 

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have…
•    Supervisory/management qualifications or training desirable
•    I.O.S.H Managing Safely Qualification or equivalent desirable.
•    Substantial experience working within Collection or similar environment.
•    Experience of IT applications Word, Excel.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work on own initiative, prioritising and managing workloads.
•    Clean driving licence.
•    Experience of the commercial and financial expectations, pro-actively managing resources to meet and exceed the requirements.
•    Experience with financial processes such as requesting purchase orders, ensuring invoices are raised and monies received are completed within required timescales for all works, including third party.
