Payroll Administrator
2x Permanent 

1x 12 months fixed term contract
Full time (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday, 9.00 – 17.00
Location: Lincolnshire County Council, LN2 1DY

Salary: £18,000 per annum pro rata 


About the Role:
To provide an accurate, effective, economic transactional processing service administering payroll and pension data ensuring prompt and accurate payments to employees.


Deliver a high quality, customer focused service to meet the requirements of schools, ensuring the delivery of a responsive service by reacting to and meeting a range of fluctuating pressures and daily demands. Other duties include maintaining accurate records and proper written communication to the customer and other agencies. The payroll administrator should be familiar with all aspects of the Council’s Payroll system and procedures. The postholder will also process payroll data including variable deductions and payments, new starters and leavers, mileage and overtime claims to meet monthly deadlines and issue monthly payslips.

About you

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy payroll environment and experience of using Microsoft Windows and Office software. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines within a performance driven office.
