Operational hours: 39 hours, 1pm to 9pm, 5 out of 7 days and weekend working required for functions and events.

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + available overtime and excellent benefits

To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team - and right now we are looking to recruit for a Sous Chef to join the centre.

 

As the Sous Chef, you will lead in our restaurant lunch and dinner provisions and events offerings at Lilleshall and work as part of the kitchen team to deliver a world class experience meaning that everything, we do ensure that our customers are valued and their satisfaction and recommendation to others is paramount.

 

The primary function of this role is to develop/run a new dining restaurant offer for Lilleshall. Menu’s development will be needed, and you should have a history of developing menus. The role will also be taking a lead on weddings and hospitality events ensuring they are delivered to the highest standard possible.

 

When not working on restaurant and hospitality events, you will be working as part of the sites wider catering operation and be required to cook in bulk for a dining room operation for hotel guests. These guests range from sports to corporate guests. Lastly, you will support the executive chef with consistently reviewing colleague performance and training, scheduling of resources, stocktaking and maintaining GDPs.

We are looking for someone who is fully flexible to cover mornings, evenings, and weekends. This is for weddings, functions, and site requirements.

 

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Lilleshall, pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when required.

 

You will have experience of leading / managing a kitchen and chef team in a hospitality and restaurant environment and it’s desirable that you hold formal / relevant chef and food safety qualifications.
