As a Microsoft 365 Application Developer with our Lincolnshire County Council contract, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and optimising the M365 environment. You’ll be the expert on new features, troubleshooting incidents, and fulfilling requests while driving service improvements. Your role will make a direct impact on IT services, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Carry out activities and processes to ensure agreed service level are met - for both internal service users and customers - including Incident Management, Event Management, Problem Management, Access Management and Request Fulfilment
- Provide 3rd line support for all Microsoft 365 issues and service requests, ensuring smooth resolution or escalation
- Manage and optimise SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and other Microsoft 365 workloads
- Advise senior customer stakeholders, triage issues, and provide expert recommendations related to Microsoft 365 products
- Help design, recommend, and implement improvements using Microsoft 365 tools
- Manage the Microsoft Messaging Centre, communicating future changes and advising the customer on new features
- Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver valuable insights
- Record all activity for inbound incidents and service requests in the designated Call Management System, ensuring that all incidents and service requests that are escalated to other parties contain full details, have the correct category and sub-category designation and are correctly prioritised.
Does this sound like you?
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on system management, optimisation, and security, in the Microsoft 365 environment
- Hands-on experience developing solutions using the Power Platform (Power Apps Canvas/Model Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents)
- Previous experience in Power BI and dashboard creation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with service users at all levels
- ITIL Foundation certification
- The ability to work under pressure to manage competing priorities
- Experience of creating user guides, process documentation, and training users on how to use new features in an M365 environment is desirable
