Drive Digital Transformation That Matters – Join Serco as a Digital Project Manager

At Serco, we don’t just deliver public services—we shape the everyday experiences of millions. Behind every seamless digital solution is a team of passionate professionals, and right now, we’re looking for a Digital Project Manager with 3–5 years of experience to help lead the charge.

This is your chance to take the reins on complex, high-impact IT projects that span pre-sales, solution analysis, systems integration, and development. If you're a hands-on, results-driven project manager who thrives on ownership and delivering real-world outcomes, we want to hear from you.

🚀 What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Digital Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our digital delivery engine—steering internal teams and third-party suppliers to success. You’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, all while making a tangible difference to the communities we serve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

🔧 IT Delivery & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT work-packages aligned with strategic business goals.
  • Own quality, budget, and timelines as defined in the Work-package Definition Document (WDD).
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies using DDAT best practices.

💰 Finance & Commercials

  • Take charge of financial planning, forecasting, and budget control.
  • Deliver timely financial updates in line with Serco’s governance cycles.

🤝 Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Drive supplier performance and resolve delivery challenges swiftly.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and the wider DDAT team.

📦 Service Transition & Documentation

  • Ensure smooth service transitions with robust documentation and operational readiness.

🧠 Leadership & Communication

  • Lead project and Scrum meetings, and contribute to project board sessions.
  • Act as the central coordination point across teams and business units.

🌟 What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience delivering medium-to-large scale IT projects.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior business users.
  • A solid technical foundation—whether in development, systems integration, or technical project management.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, project/change management, and service readiness.
  • Budget management and third-party supplier experience.
  • APM or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Eligibility for BPSS clearance (SC clearance may be required for some roles).

💼 Why Join Serco?

Make an Impact: Your work will directly influence how vital public services are delivered across the UK and beyond.
