Monday to Thursday (18.00 – 21.00) and Friday (17.00-20.00)
£9,750 per annum plus benefits
Here at Serco, we partner with governments to provide public services across Defence, Justice & Immigration, Transport, Health, and Citizen Services. We currently have an opportunity for a Cleaner to join our team at our office in Hook. As our Cleaner, you will provide professional cleaning support ensuring all areas are maintained to a high level of cleanliness.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Professionally clean designated areas as outlined by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Use equipment in a sensible and professional manner, ensuring trailing cables are correctly managed.
- Ensure warning signs are well used and returned to the correct storage areas.
- Ensure understanding regarding the use and control of substances used to clean the offices and equipment.
- From time to time undertake other duties as outlined by the Cleaning Supervisor.
- Ensure all relevant training is carried out.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Ability to listen to and undertake instructions given by the supervisor.
- A professional manner when dealing with Serco employees and external visitors.
- Previous experience in working within a corporate cleaning environment is desirable but not essential to this role.
- Due to the location of the role, your own transport would be beneficial as public transport options are limited.
