Are you an expert in Workforce Management (WFM) with a passion for shaping innovative resource models and optimising workforce planning? Here at Serco we are looking for a dynamic WFM Manager – Bids, Implementation & Optimisation to join our team and make an impact across the UK&E division.

 

You’ll be at the heart of shaping workforce management solutions for new bids, transitions, mobilisations, and optimising existing contracts. This is a strategic role that requires both technical expertise and business awareness to develop end-to-end resource models, while providing support to the WFM Senior Managers. You’ll be responsible for ensuring Serco’s WFM practices are best in sector, using your technical knowledge to deliver workforce planning advice and insights that drive business success.

 

As part of this you will:

  • Develop optimal resource models, shift rosters and analysis for bids, transitions and existing contracts.
  • Provide strategic insights and technical WFM knowledge.
  • Provide analysis based upon scenario plans, working time regulations and predictive forecasts.
  • Create volumetric and staffing forecasts.
  • Use WFM technical expertise in combination of business awareness to ensure the WFM practices at Serco are best in sector.
  • Provide governance, and assurance to WFM practices.
  • Provide technical expertise on WFM processes and practices and onsite support to the contracts.

 

What you’ll need to do the role:

  • Experience in WFM concepts such as forecasting, capacity planning, and scheduling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assimilate complex information and communicate it simply and effectively.
  • Advanced user of MS Excel and familiarity with WFM tools such as Time2Work, IEX, Verint, Aspect, Kronos, Teleopti, or Genesys.
  • A proven track record in strategic, operational, and tactical workforce planning in large, complex organisations.
  • Experience working within bid and/or project teams, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and navigating evolving priorities and challenges.
