£40,000 - £43,000 per annum (depending on experience)
At Serco, we are looking for a Reward & Benefits Specialist to join our UK & Europe Reward Team. This is a key role within our central Reward function, reporting directly to the Reward & Benefits Partner. You’ll collaborate closely with team members and key stakeholders to support the delivery of high-quality reward and benefits services, contributing to both cyclical activities and technical aspects of the function.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be responsible for gathering and analysing key data, ensuring accuracy, and providing valuable insights to support business decisions. Your role will also involve managing benchmarking activities and enhancing our benefits offering to improve employee engagement.
As part of your role, you will:
- Conduct benchmarking for roles at Bands B4–B2, seeking support from the Reward & Benefits Partner when needed.
- Support the development and accuracy of Serco’s benefits schemes.
- Deliver benefits webinars and face-to-face sessions to drive engagement.
- Assist with salary surveys, including across Europe.
- Respond to pulse and spot surveys.
- Draft and issue communications related to cyclical reward activities, such as annual pay reviews and bonus invitations.
- Manage internal communications for compensation and benefits.
- Oversee updates to benefit portal tiles and ensure smooth implementation of changes.
- Develop FAQs and communications for benefit schemes.
- Monitor recognition and reward schemes, including overseeing new initiatives.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a Reward role is essential.
- Strong knowledge and experience of benchmarking using the Willis Towers Watson job architecture and framework, or KF Hay trained.
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including benefit providers and advisors.
- Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with complex data.
- High standards of professionalism, initiative, creativity, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to challenge the status quo and develop new solutions.
