Your Opportunity  

The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. It includes but not limited to long-term management of assets, facilities, resources, and services to improve performance, reduce costs and manage the life cycle. In brief, the scope is for the provision of consulting, technical, management and administrative support for facilities and asset management works.

We are looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to create Facilities Strategy Roadmaps and plans in support of the Ministry’s transformation programme as well as management of outsourced consultants and O&M contractors on behalf of the client.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks, and good communication. Excellent organisation, time management and prioritizing skills. 

This role is part of the Quality Management team and will be based in Riyadh.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies in Saudi Arabia.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop improvement plans to streamline workflows and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address systemic issues.
  • Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress and communicate outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive adoption of standardized work processes and quality standards across departments.
  • Support change management efforts associated with process improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate insights into improvement plans.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams focused on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine the continuous improvement framework for sustainability.

Specific Requirements

  • Practical and previous experience in KSA
  • Previous experience in Public Sectors
  • 10 years’ experience in relevant field is a minimum requirement
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field is mandatory
  • Deep understanding of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), Kaizen, and Agile, including their principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze large volumes of data in a concise and accurate manner.
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic reports, concept/strategic/operational models, and industry standards.
  • Expertise in conducting root cause analysis techniques to uncover underlying causes of process inefficiencies and defects.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001 to drive continuous improvement efforts and maintain compliance with quality requirements
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to liaise in a professional manner with staff at all levels in the organisation and with external parties.
  • Ability to develop self and contribute to the development of others across the Team.
  • Strong analytical and strategical skills.
