Your Opportunity  

The purpose of the project under this contract is to provide consulting and management support to a Ministry in KSA with the necessary tools to manage and maintain assets and facilities, through improving activities to meet service requirements, developing business strategies that ensure reducing costs of the life cycle of assets, and improving practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. It includes but not limited to long-term management of assets, facilities, resources, and services to improve performance, reduce costs and manage the life cycle. In brief, the scope is for the provision of consulting, technical, management and administrative support for facilities and asset management works.

We are looking for a Continuous Improvements Specialist to support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist in applying leading practices in order to always improve in every opportunity by raising the client’s outcomes and services through continuous improvement and activating best practices within the scope of work of outsourcing consultants and operation and maintenance contractors.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The Continuous Improvements Specialist will report into the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist and will be based in Riyadh.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence and enhance efficiency.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Support the development of improvement plans and initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization, achieving measurable improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address systemic issues and prevent recurrence.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to establish and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track progress, monitor trends, and communicate outcomes of continuous improvement efforts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to improve awareness within the organization on continuous improvement principles, methodologies, and tools, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive the adoption of standardized work processes, best practices, and quality standards across departments and functional areas, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Support change management efforts associated with continuous improvement initiatives, addressing resistance, promoting buy-in, and facilitating the successful implementation of process changes.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to conduct analysis to identify industry trends, emerging practices, and opportunities for innovation, incorporating insights into continuous improvement plans.
• Participate in cross-functional teams focused on specific improvement areas or strategic initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert and driving collaborative problem-solving efforts.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices relevant to the organization's operations, integrating compliance considerations into continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to continuously evaluate and refine the organization's continuous improvement framework, methodologies, and processes to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability over time.
• Support in monitoring and evaluating performance, developing a mechanism for continuous improvement of the department’s work system, and analyzing the results and preparing reports regarding them.
• Perform any other tasks as requested by the Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist.

Specific Requirements

• Familiarity with facilities operation consultancy is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Ability to develop self and contribute to the development of others across the Team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and strategical skills.
• Practical experience in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in quality services and studies.
• Experience in Continuous Improvement Operations
• Minimum 7 years’ Experience
