Your Opportunity  

We are looking for a Client Director to support our Growth Team in developing future opportunities and contract wins for Serco both with our current portfolio of services and in closely related services.

 

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in an easily understood format and an understanding of the Middle East regional business environment from stakeholder behavior to current contract circumstances.

 

The role will report directly to the Regional Head +impact and have a dotted line to the Chief Growth Officer.

This role is part of +Impact team and will be based in our corporate office in Riyadh, with business traveles across KSA and UAE.

 

Key Accountabilities 

 

 

  • Deliver sustainable growth in +impact including ESG, Asset Management, Space, Strategy and Transformation.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for the growth of our +impact business in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and access other adjacent markets matching Serco capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end growth aspirations covering:
    • Client segmentation models
    • Customer Engagement
    • Propositions
    • New Business Development
    • Pipeline Management
  • Working with the Regional Head of +impact, take responsibility and accountability for delivering an effective Business Growth Strategy with particular focus on Strategy execution and Key Account Management.
  • Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Chief Growth Officer.
  • Work with key stakeholders in developing business development strategies and plans aligned to the Middle East and Serco Group strategies, that will achieve short, medium, and long-term profitable growth targets and then implementing those plans.
  • Shape the long-term business development strategy of the Middle East region.
  • Perform research and investigation to gain insight and data to support the strategy development and understand and implement frameworks such as Pestel, Market & Client Segmentation modelling, TAM, SAM & Som, and CAGE analysis where needed.

 

Specific Requirements (What we are looking for in our candidates) 

  • Degree qualified or equivalent post-graduate training/qualification.
  • Prior experience of working and living in KSA.
  • Proven track record of developing growth strategies to win new business and deliver challenging growth targets.
  • History and track record of delivering on growth targets and winning new business
  • Knowledge of customer base (PIF entities, Giga Projects) and Advisory Services
  • A pervasive knowledge of business organizations at a strategic level.
  • A natural consultancy style which constructively challenges the business and builds relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Capacity to contribute to strategic business management issues.
  • Ability to influence senior management, establish and maintain collaborative 

partnerships and provide thought leadership.

  • Highly skilled influencer with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a defined budget, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money; and to forecast and prepare team budget plans and manage the implementation of spend against agreed objectives.
  • Exposure to and interpretation of the financial management of simple and complex organisation.
  • Able to demonstrate the competence in the productive use of resources to achieve result within stiff constraints.
  • Ability to operate within the ethics and values of the Serco group.
  • Minimum 10 years Corporate Growth Strategy experience for a company of similar industry and size is required
  • Minimum 5 years at an executive level experience is required.
  • Previous experience in Leading large Bids within similar industries and sectors (in the Middle East with particularly focus on KSA and the UAE.)
  • Evidence of successful completion of significant new business in similar sectors to Serco.
  • Proven ability to set, monitor and achieve safety objectives
