About Cabarlah
Cabarlah Clinic is located within Borneo Barracks, 14km north of Toowoomba. The barracks is home to the tri-service Defence Force School of Signals’ Electronic Warfare Wing and has approximately 250 members. The Clinic provides primary medical, dental, nursing, mental health and physiotherapy services to the base. Clinic staff may be required to work across Cabarlah & Oakey.  Standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).
 

Make an impact at Serco
Based at the Cabarlah Health centre, you will provide support and treatments to valuable Defence Force Personnel. You will be responsible for providing a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services to patients. These services will include providing direction on rehabilitation programs, splinting/plastering/fitting of orthoses or other devices, use of electrotherapy modalities or hydrotherapy pools where required, as well as providing advice and recommendations to other health professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
• Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (desirable).

Please note:

• You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance for this role.
• You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base and your job stays here, even if the Defence personnel you care for are deployed.

In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. 
This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
